DVD to VCD Mode allows you to store Video-DVD content on CD-R/RW media. The source video and audio streams are recompressed to MPEG-1 with the lower quality than the original data.

In most cases the whole movie can't fit a single CD-R/RW disc so you will need 2 or possibly 3 CD-R/RW discs. The movie will be devided automatically to the parts of desired sizes.

The burnt VCD discs can be played by any DVD Player.

To use this mode you need the CD-R/RW burner with one of the hardware interfaces: IDE, USB, FireWire.
